A Million Steps
Our Groundsman Mohammad has partnered up with the charity Shooting Stars to raise funds for amazing work that they do in supporting families with babies, children and young people who have life-limiting conditions.
The target of 1,000,000 steps has been set whilst he is busy working at the club during 2021, please we ask you to support him in raising as much money as possible for Shooting Star Children's Hospice by donating today.
All donations are processed through the JustGiving system and go directly to the named charity.

Why Shooting Stars?
The work that Shooting Stars is truly amazing, working with and supporting families that have babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions.
The support they provide is bespoke to each family as they recognise the different challenges faced will vary for each circumstance.
The Support they offer is completely FREE OF CHARGE to the families they work with and includes services like:
- Therapy sessions
- Support Groups
- Specialist Nursing Care
- Specialist Respite Care
- Hospices
- Symptom Management
- End-of-life Care
- Bereavement Support
Mo spends a lot of time at the club preparing all the playing surfaces and the grounds in general so that all of our children from the Spencer Community Trust and Northants Junior Foxes teams have a safe place to come and enjoy sports and other activities.
His determination to provide a safe place for everyone to enjoy football at the club is very much appreciated by us all here at Spencer, it's now amazing to see him trying to help others further afield by walking a MILLION steps to raise funds for Shooting Stars so they in turn can continue to excel in supporting so many families with the assistance they need.

Mo is going to plot his steps on a map so we can see how he is progressing. His 'virtual' journey will begin at the Plymouth Argyle football ground and he will work his way east along the coastline and then Northwards 'virtually' visiting as many football clubs as possible.
